Gillian Black is from Edinburgh, UK. She and her family visited Nevis in November of 2016. Read about their adventures on the island.

We arrived on this magnificent, tranquil island in November of 2016. We rented a superb villa at Oualie Beach, and the first thing we did was visit the water. On the way, we saw some massive red crabs.

The ocean around Nevis is crystal clear and warm enough to swim for hours. Then, you can relax along the fine, sandy beaches.

Later in our trip, we went swimming with turtles. These magnificent sea creatures are such stylish swimmers.

We found many things to do during our stay. We hired bikes, went scuba diving, and snorkled. Golf is a little expensive, but it’s worth it. The views are brilliant.

All the locals are very friendly, and the beautiful sunsets alone make Nevis worth visiting.
